45 minutes to 5. Across two different businesses.
Two companies — Christmas light installation (750 homes a season, October through December) and pressure washing — both sold on proposals. And building each proposal took 45 painstaking minutes. Different businesses, different sales, same bottleneck.
Off-the-shelf tools wanted to force both into one template — which would've broken how each one actually sells. So I built one engine, shaped to fit each business: form fields in, a beautiful proposal out, sent to the customer to view and accept online.
45 minutes became 5–10. Across a 750-home season, that's the difference between drowning and scaling. And customers now accept proposals themselves — no back-and-forth, no chasing signatures.
